You are about to read a huge SPOILER about the first book of “A Song of Ice and Fire” series (Game Of Thrones). I am going to talk about some facts that haven’t mentioned in the TV series of Game Of Thrones.
So if you are not going to read the books, this article will give you little facts about the story.
- After the capture of Kingslayer (Jaime Lannister), vexillaries of Robb Stark will propose him a distinguished kingdom in the north.
- Ex-king Robert Baratheon’s brother Renly Baratheon is about to put a claim for the throne. And gathering an army to run to King’s Landing. The most interesting part is, King Joffrey has no idea about it and his mother (Cercei Lannister) keeps it as a secret from him. She thinks that if Joffrey hears what’s going on, he will run towards Lord Renly using City’s Guards which will make the King’s Landing defenseless. If he makes King’s Landing defenseless, probably Stannis Baratheon (other brother of King Robert) will put a claim for throne too and run for King’s Landing with a huge army.
- Cercei Lannister relies on his father Tywin Lannister about the protection of King Joffrey. But he has to deal with the armies of the north and actually doesn’t like Joffrey. That’s the reason why he sends Tyrion to King’s Landing to take care of Joffrey and Cercei.
- If you didn’t notice, Sir Jorah Mormont (Daenerys protector) is the son of Jon’s Commander in the wall.
- Mad King’s son Prince Rhaegar (eldest of Viserys and Daenerys) who was killed in the rebellion of King Robert, captures Lady Lyanna and rapes her.
- Maege Mormont is the only vexillary woman in the war. And sister of the commander of the wall (Jeor Mormont aka Old Bear).
- Lord Petyr Baelish (aka Littlefinger) used to play with Catelyn Tully (Stark) and Lysa Tully (Arryn) in his early ages. He duelled with Brandon Stark (Eddard Stark’s brother) for Catelyn Tully but even though Brandon Stark cuts him vertically in his body, he spares his life after the pleas of Catelyn.
- Brandon Stark was on the way to wed Catelyn Tully when he heard about the abduction of Lyanna Stark. He threatened the Prince Rhaegar but arrested and charged (a long time later) with the murder of the murder of Rhaegar by the Mad King. In short, couldn’t get married with Catelyn and his brother Eddard married to her.
- Sir Barristan Selmy kills 2 guards who sent after him by King Joffrey on the way to exile.
- If you couldn’t notice; SANSA IS AGONIZINGLY STUPID.
These are the little facts that i can remember right now. As long as i keep on reading, i am planning to write more.
